Salty promo code: the flat-discount ladder from ₹100 to ₹500 explained
Salty's codes in India form a ladder: ₹100 off over ₹499, ₹200 off over ₹799, ₹300 off over ₹1199, ₹500 off over ₹2,500 and a 5% code. Here is how I would pick the step that fits a cart, and what the store's terms rule out.

The working Salty codes are in the block right under the title. As of 8 October 2026 the store lists eight codes for India, arranged as a ladder of flat discounts: ₹100 off orders above ₹499, ₹200 off above ₹799, ₹300 off above ₹1199, ₹150 off from ₹1,200, ₹500 off from ₹2,500, and a 5% code with a ₹150 minimum. The trick is to match the step to your cart, not to grab the biggest number.
Pick the step for your cart
Cart value | Best published code | Saving |
|---|---|---|
₹150–498 | 5% off, minimum ₹150 | up to about ₹25 |
₹499–798 | ₹100 off above ₹499 | ₹100 |
₹799–1,198 | ₹200 off above ₹799 | ₹200 |
₹1,199–2,499 | ₹300 off above ₹1199 | ₹300 |
₹2,500 and more | ₹500 off from ₹2,500 | ₹500 |
The ₹150 code from ₹1,200 is weaker than the ₹300 step at the same cart value, so I would only use it if the ₹300 code is refused.
How I would apply it

Fill the cart, look at the subtotal, choose the step from the table, then copy that code from the block above and open the store with the button next to it. Paste the code at checkout and check that the flat amount came off. Or open Salty first and keep the code copied.
What the store's terms rule out
The terms published with these codes say three things clearly:
No combining. The flat-discount codes cannot be combined with other discounts.
One use per customer for several of the codes.
Minimum purchase is checked on the order value, so removing an item at the last moment can drop you below the step.
Sale prices and bundle offers on the site can count as "other discounts", which is the most common reason a code is refused on an already discounted item.
Getting the most from the ladder
If your cart is a little short of the next step, compare what you would add with what you would save. Going from ₹760 to ₹800 turns a ₹100 saving into ₹200, which is worth it only if the extra piece is something you would wear. Splitting a large cart into two orders rarely helps, because the codes are one per customer.
Common questions
Is the ₹500 code the best one? Only if your cart reaches ₹2,500. Below that it does not apply at all, and the ₹300 step from ₹1199 gives the most for a mid-sized order.
Does shipping count toward the minimum? Thresholds are usually checked on the order value of the products. If your total is close to a step, look at the subtotal line rather than the figure that includes delivery.
What if I already used one of the codes? Several codes are marked one use per customer. Another step of the ladder may still be available to you, so try the next code from the block rather than repeating the same one.
Quick check before paying

the code's minimum matches your subtotal;
no other discount is already applied to the items;
you have not used this code before;
the saving shows in the total before payment.
When it all lines up, check out on Salty. If a code fails, try the next step down in the block; the store decides the final terms.
